Welcome to the Student Ministries page - the website for our youth ministry (6th-12th graders) of Gold Canyon Community Church!  Our mission is to "challenge our students to love and serve the Lord and encourage them to reach their peers for Christ."  Each Sunday we'll be inviting those between 6th-12th grades to check out our in-service group time when all the students are dismissed (approx. 10:30 am). This will be a great time to hang out, study God's word and, as always, play some great games.

Outside Sunday morning we plan exciting outings and events almost every month. Some of the things we've done in the past include pool parties, games nights, movie nights, bowling, roller skating and a Phoenix Suns basketball game. We love to hear any ideas students may have and are excited to create opportunities for them to grow and share together.

If you have a passion for working with youth or would like to host activities please let us know by contacting the youth leader and elder Kris Watanabe at (480) 288-5600.  We specifically are asking for those who would either a) host an event, or b) help as a teacher (once a month) on Sundays. We are also praying for a full-time youth pastor as God leads and provides.
